RSK undertakes aerial surveys using aeroplanes, helicopters and UAV. We use specialist software (VISIVI) to deliver high-resolution aerial photography (overlapping, oblique, forwards and backwards facing) via a cloud-based delivery. This enables multiple users to simultaneously access and view the same image. The photography delivers time and cost savings by reducing field survey visits to an absolute minimum. The photography can be used in conjunction with GIS to support large scale linear, difficult to access or remote locations.
RSK can help clients with air quality consultancy and allied internal air quality, industrial emissions and ambient quality monitoring and testing services. The data is used for planning and development control and in relation to occupational and environmental health studies. We can undertake boundary dust monitoring, ambient air quality monitoring including passive diffusion tube monitoring and active real time automatic monitoring for a variety of air pollutants. RSK provides control advice for air quality both inside (occupational) and outside.

RSK can undertake most aspects of noise and vibration impact assessment in house, including noise and vibration surveys of existing situations, predictive consultancy, assessing sensitive development and designing mitigation measures. Our consultancy includes external noise monitoring and modelling for rail and road projects as well as sound insulation tests, building acoustic consultancy and industrial noise assessments and control.
