As a RIBA Chartered Practice, Pegasus Group’s architectural expertise is dedicated to making a positive contribution to the built environment. We work on a wide range of projects across all sectors, from single bespoke dwellings to large mixed use developments. Our experience includes designing new buildings as well as bringing new life to existing ones.We provide a full service from concept designs, gaining permissions, and overseeing construction to completion. Alternatively, we can offer specific elements such as feasibility studies, and planning and building regulations applications.


Pegasus Group offer an extensive Economic Intelligence Service across a range of sectors including housing, advanced manufacturing and energy. We have a strong track record of combining planning skills with socio-demographic and economic analysis to provide a robust evidence base to support plan-making and decision-taking through the planning process. Our expertise has been successful in challenging and informing the housing requirements in Local Plans and also in supporting cases at planning appeals for housing and commercial developments highlighting the wider regional economic benefits.

Expert evidence/witness

Being able to put your case across strongly and soundly is very important in any area of litigation or indeed through any planning appeal or representation required at Local or Neighbourhood Plan examinations. Pegasus Group provide evidence across a number of different areas including planning, construction, development, landscape, heritage, urban design, economics, housing land availability, objectively assessed housing need, renewable energy and transportation.


Our heritage specialists, acting for private and public clients, advise widely in respect of heritage issues, including providing specialist services to owners, and custodians with regards to historic buildings, historic landscapes and archaeology. This includes undertaking heritage assessments, assessing and articulating the significance of heritage assets, preparing impact assessments, providing heritage expert witness at Public Inquiry and designing schemes of mitigation.

Impact assessment (EIA/SEA)

Pegasus Group’s environmental planners and landscape architects have a proven track record in delivering sustainable and economically viable solutions for clients. We have market leading experience in providing formal EIA and non-EIA development, Environmental Statement Auditing and Environmental Management Plans for a range of sectors including energy, minerals and large infrastructure projects.

Master planning

Masterplanning is an integral part of the planning process. Pegasus Group’s experience embraces large scale urban extensions, strategies for area regeneration and detailed design.We excel in providing distinctive, integrated and sustainable developments that are based on a firm understanding of existing movement networks, the existing landscape and the surrounding urban fabric.Our work is often in support of planning applications and we have a very good understanding of the development control process and planning policy requirements in relation to design.

Renewable energy

Pegasus Group has considerable experience of renewable energy projects including, solar PV, on and offshore wind, battery storage, anaerobic digestion and biogas, and Energy from Waste (EfW). We have gained planning consent for over 1.5GW of renewables projects and our consented solar schemes now contribute to more than 10% of the UK’s entire solar capacity.

Town & country planning

We specialise in all aspects of the planning system ranging from the strategic promotion of sites, the development plan process through to the project management of development schemes via planning applications. Our extensive experience in delivering large scale town and country plans includes providing site appraisals, pre-application advice, design and access statements along with offering public engagement and consultation support to assist in delivering a successful outcome.

Pegasus Group’s transport team provide robust transport planning and highway engineering services. The team deliver a transport service that identifies key transport issues, opportunities and constraints and provide cost-effective solutions.The team have a wealth of knowledge and experience across a broad range of sectors, including residential, health, education, retail, energy and employment.
